True Spirituality Ask the average person in the street what it means to be spiritual and you will get people saying things like, " a spiritual person is someone who is in touch with the universe, his feelings, or knows how to appeal to his higher self. But what does the bible have to say about the subject? Living By Faith Romans 1:17 "The just shall live by faith" To live by faith is a far surer and happier thing than to live by feelings or works. Believers are called to live by faith. There is much turmoil for the soul who would live by feelings, and great is the burden for the soul who is laden with works. Wisdom Is The Principle Thing Proverbs 4:7 "Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore get wisdom, and in all thy getting get understanding" Here the bible puts a high value on wisdom and admonishes the believer to get wisdom and get understanding. In this world wisdom and knowledge abounds in just about every sphere of life that one can imagine. Although worldly wisdom can be used to a certain extent, it is Godly wisdom that the Christian needs to navigate his way successfully through a Godless world.
