Fortunately, many people today are taking an interest in their health instead of relying totally on doctors to get and keep them well. The seeker of such knowledge from God's word should realize that this information is not always easily recognized in scripture. The above scripture is only one of many that teach man about the kind of diet he should follow and the medicinal plants that God provided in abundance for his ailments. Those who become students of the Bible's teachings on health would do well to use the herbs and foods mentioned, in their natural state as far as possible.
