    The Presence of Jesus وجود يسوع

    The alarm clock pierced the quiet of the early morning hours. وقد المنبه اخترقت الهدوء من ساعات الصباح الأولى. I rolled over and struggled to open my eyes; the time was 6:00 am This was my first day in Israel! أنا رحلت وكافح لفتح عيني ؛ الوقت كان 6:00 صباحا و هو كان أول يوم في اسرائيل! The flight landed in Tel Aviv at 10:00 pm the night before; our group of thirty-three tourists arrived at the hotel close to 11:00 pm and crawled into bed. هبطت الطائرة في تل ابيب في الساعة 10:00 ليلا قبل ؛ لنا مجموعة من السياح الثلاثة والثلاثين ووصل في الفنادق القريبة من الساعة 11:00 وزحف إلى السرير.

    Just beyond the drapes, which were pulled to keep out the morning sun, were the calm waters of the Sea of Galilee! فقط بعد يجلل ، والتي تم سحب لمنع شمس صباح ، كانت هادئة المياه من بحيرة طبرية! As I gazed at the silent splendor before me, I thought back 2000 years ago. وكما قلت يحدقون في صمت قبل العز لي ، وأعتقد مرة منذ سنوات 2000. On these waters, Peter and Andrew made their living before being called to become “fishers of men.” In my mind’s eye, I could picture Jesus walking along the edge of the shore. على هذه المياه ، وبيتر أندرو جعل معيشتهم قبل أن تصبح ودعا إلى "صيادي بشر". وفي رأيي عين ، أنا يمكن أن صورة السيد المسيح يمشي على حافة الشاطئ.     Our group spent four joyous days in the area of Galilee before moving on to Jerusalem. مجموعتنا السعيدة أمضى أربعة أيام في منطقة الجليل قبل الانتقال إلى القدس. I long to return there one day! أنا طويل للعودة هناك يوم واحد! I long to sit at the edge of the Sea of Galilee where Jesus spent so much of His life. أنا طويل على الجلوس على حافة بحيرة طبرية حيث أمضى السيد المسيح الكثير من حياته. The rising sun reflecting in the sea each morning was a mirror image of the light and joy reflected in my soul. مما يعكس ارتفاع الشمس في البحر كل صباح كان صورة طبق الأصل من وضوء وفرح ينعكس في روحي. I recently read a quotation by Dietrich von Hildebrand, which aptly describes the sunrise on the Sea of Galilee. ولقد قرأت مؤخرا اقتباس من جانب ديتريش فون هيلدبراند ، الذي يصف باقتدار شروق الشمس على بحيرة طبرية.
