  • 5 Biblical Points on Spiritual Growth For Your Marriage  By : Angie Lewis
Christian growth is a lifetime process, meaning we don't automatically start thinking good thoughts and have a pure attitude about everything! These things take time and much wisdom from God. This is why it is often called a "spiritual growth process". Sometimes change seems slow but your marriage will change significantly if you keep trusting in God to build it up.

  • Answers vs. Wisdom  By : Paula Marolewski
I often find myself praying, “Lord, tell me what to do!” or “Is this course of action that I’m considering right or wrong? Just tell me!” But I have finally realized that this is not the best kind of prayer, and, in many instances, is not even an appropriate kind of prayer.

  • Attitude For Gratitude  By : Henrietta Elegunde
Grateful people see opportunity to be thankful everyday, regardless. They are optimist that sees opportunities in life challenges. They see change as opportunity to grow. They know that whatever they are going through is just for some time, and that it could be worse. They never torment themselves about what they don’t have. They just keep reaching for the stars. They always win in the end. Gratitude is a choice, and lifestyle. Gratitude is not a feeling.

  • Being preceds doing:A call to sanctification preceeds a call to christian ministry  By : Ransomed ransom
The biblical position on the “being versus the doing equation” is that when God calls a person He chooses for His work, He first addresses the issue of his ontology, his being, the person he is on the inside, recreates it and then goes on to commission him to the task of Christian ministry. The sequence is: ‘being’ (ontology) first, ‘doing’ second.
  • Can Christians Walk Together When They Don’t Agree?  By : Rick D. Wynn
God is not a respecter of persons, but a respecter of the heart. If this is God’s perspective of us, then should our perspective of one another be any less? As Christians, we often develop friendships because we can agree in our personal understanding concerning Scripture and biblical interpretation, but what happens when we don’t agree? Can we love despite our disagreements? In other words, do we base our relationships upon our intellectual understanding or God's unconditional love?
  • Captivated  By : Brother Bill
There's a song which has dominated my attention for the past couple of weeks. From the first time I heard it, I began to play it so many times I've lost count. I think it's a beautiful song, of course, but there's so much more to it than that.

If you were to ask the average thinking person what does integrity mean to you? You will get a somewhat varied response. People who answer such a question might also consider themselves to be spiritual. There is, however, a problem with what the world might call integrity. For the most part their definition looks sound but dig a little deeper and you uncover some interesting thinking on the subject.

  • Effective Helping  By : Star Ferdinand
Jesus has called us to follow Him. One of the ways we do that is by helping others. He said that the world will know we are His disciples if we have love for one another. If we love our Christian brothers and sisters, we will help them in whatever way we can. But Jesus did not restrict His help to only those of His religious persuasion. He healed Samaritans, Romans, and other Gentiles. As we follow Him, we, too, must reach out to those outside of our spiritual family.

But EVERYTHING? Including all of the evil in the world?
    Including our own difficult circumstances?
Yes! God has a plan for us. We must yield to Him in all things and let Him mold, shape and perfect us.
Here is a way to consider this . . .

  • Forsake Not!  By : Mark Baker
God by His Holy Spirit is saying through the writer of the book of Hebrews for us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. This was said as a commandment. The evolution of a

  • No Idea  By : Brother Bill
Wonder...a sense of wonder. Isn't that where we all end up when we consider our God, His creation, the works of His mighty hand? In the home, we protect our children the best we know how and teach them properly early in child rearing because we know that if we fail to do so, danger lurks around every corner to ambush that child. Spiritually, we are neglecting the young in Christ. They are being left on their own to fend for themselves. Because they lack in knowledge and understanding, they fall away from Christ in great numbers. Souls are getting saved, but few are being trained up and discipled.

Authority in itself is not power, but the bestowed right to use and yield that power...

One of the most common questions asked among Christians is, " How can I know the will of God?" I'm happy that I can answer that question with certainty. God's will is that we give thanks continually (1 Thessalonians 5:18). God's will is that none should perish but that all should come t

Then, I thought about Jesus being God and having the option of not going to the Cross.
