YEARNINGS #2: Encounter with self!

The me in me is all rotten
Drilled all over by maggots –
Emptied, exhausted and wasted.

I lie here: a non-being
I am and yet I am not.
Someone is absent. I am absent!
May be I am present – at most a mere pulse and no more.
May be.

How can I be a being?
How can I become present?
How can I be, fully be?

I will cry out to you O my creator,
To you O purest Being.
To you will I cry out
You, who has also become my Father.

It is you who had once spawned me and spermed me to being.
You nurtured me.
You alone can once more sperm me to be.

O come
O you fertile, creative, nurturing Spirit
Come and cause me to be,
To fully be.
