Trust And Be Safe

By: J. P.s Inspirations

"The fear of man bringeth a snare, but whosoever putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe."
.......Proverbs 29: 25.

There are many who become fearful when they hear reports of war
and rumors of war, economic problems, false accusations, or other
alarming news. Fear is an enemy of faith and brings a snare and sin.
The New Living Translation says, "Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but
to trust the Lord means safety." The Good News Version gives us even
more insight into how one's concerns can bring a snare. It says, "It is dangerous
to be concerned with what others think of you, but if you trust the LORD, you are safe."

If one puts their trust in the Lord, they are promised they shall be safe. We have
all had times when fear may have seemed to grip our hearts, but as we looked to the
Lord, we knew everything would be alright in Christ. The question of the Lord is,
"whose report will you believe?" We are to believe the report of the Lord.
Regardless of bad reports, views of others, or news that may be troublesome,
God is still on His Throne and will take care of His own.

God is Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. He has promised if we seek Him and His
kingdom of righteousness before everything else in our lives, He will meet and supply
all our needs. This is a true blessing and promise as we can lean upon Him and
be safe. When fear knocks on your heart's door, send faith to answer and
doubt or fear will have to flee in the name of Jesus.

A snare is something which entraps one and keeps them in bondage to emotions such as
fear, doubt, or other strongholds of the mind. It has been said the word F.E.A.R. means
"false expectations appearing real." Most of the things people worry about never
come to pass and can cause them untold heartache if allowed to remain in their
mind or heart. Worry about what others think or false accusations is also a snare or
trap of the enemy in lives of many people. God is a God of truth and how
our soul appears to Him should be one's real concern.

God's children can rise above worry, doubt, or fear by thinking on things which are
worthy and of a good report. Thoughts which are honest and of virtue are those we
are to ponder upon and consider. Those of a false or negative report are not worthy
of being considered and have already been weighed in the balance of God. God has the
answer even before a problem occurs. The peace of God which He gives is a calm
assurance and rest in Him.

God will give us assurance and comfort when we call upon Him and always sees us
through as He shows us how things look from the heavenly viewpoint. Faith defeats
fear which comes into all our lives at times. If we are abiding in the Vine, Christ Jesus,
His Spirit will supply all we need to be victorious as we travel through this life.
"All things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are the called according
to His purpose." (Romans 8: 28) This is His promise and we can rely on His faithfulness.

Many men and women spend enormous amounts of money each year trying to find someone
to analyze them and help find a solution to bring them real peace. God tells us if we keep our
mind stayed upon the Lord, He will keep us in perfect peace. His Word is the best source
to show one their shortcomings and the way to lay aside every weight and sin which
so easily besets them. His promises are revealed to encourage us and He will carry us
as on wings of an eagle, if we grow weary. For every temptation and trial, there is a way
of escape. If God does not see you out of it, He will carry you through it. With Christ helping
you fight your earthly battles, there is nothing to fear. Christians can claim the Scripture
which says, "No weapon that is fashioned against you shall prosper, and you shall confute
every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of
the Lord and their vindication from me, says the Lord." {Isa. 54:17.. NRSV} This is
the best word of all because it is spoken by God. Will we believe His report?

Do you have problems that seem to be obstacles in your life today? If so, do not let fear
of man or circumstances bring a snare. Let the Savior bring you safety through by trusting in
His salvation and strength. He is the answer for the world today. Every problem can be
solved in God's way and time. Whatever you may be facing today, "this too shall pass!"

If your faith seems weak today, call upon the Lord as the Father of the child in Mark 9: 24. He said,
"Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." The Lord will increase your faith and strengthen you.
The Lord answered and also set the child free. He then told the disciples deliverance such as this
comes only through prayer and fasting. We see nothing is too difficult when Jesus is in control as
the Savior of one's soul.

We are 'blessed through every test' and can testify after all earth's trials and tribulations. We must
take one day at a time and trust the Lord completely for all of our tomorrow's. God is a good
God and his mercy shall endure forever. The Lord is our Refuge and Fortress who is worthy
of all our praise and glory. Only in Him can we trust and firmly stand. We are blessed because
we are safe in the Savior's loving hands!
