The Peace That Is Ours

By: J. A. Jeanty

If we could only reach that one certain place -plateau- where everything makes sense ...no matter how hopeless our "real world" circumstances may be. A place where all is well, and everything WILL be alright, because everything IS alright. Peace .....the kingdom of God is with us.

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you ....."

He's giving us His peace ...what must that be like? The peace of God ...the peace of the One who holds all in the palm of His hand ...What are the things that make for His type of peace, and how do we find them? Or do we just receive?

"...Not as the world giveth give I unto you...."

It is so easy to take and accept what the world gives us as "real", and of substance; regardless of how many times our experiences have shown this to be untrue. And yet, there is a place inside each one of us that knows beyond knowing when the Real has arrived.

"...Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." - John 14:27 (KJV)

Real Peace requires a quiet heart, and a gentle mind. It's part of the package, and no effort is needed. This is what makes Him Special. For only He can "reach" that place inside each one of us that knows beyond "knowing" that His peace is Real.

The kingdom of God is within us. He gives, as we receive.

The kingdom of God is a place. It's a place in time that makes little to no sense in this "see and feel" world; but it is Real. More real, in fact, than any definition of real we may know. Visit A Higher Life for more on this marvelous place in time.
