Spiritual Light Versus Darkness

The entrance of God’s words, or Knowledge, into our hearts gives us spiritual light, or what is called enlightenment. His knowledge imparts unto us spiritual insight. (Psalm 119:130) Through His Knowledge, power is released into our spirit. This gives us supernatural strength to resist temptations to think evil thoughts, speak evil words and do evil things.

Our responsibility is to receive God’s knowledge, underrated its meaning and apply it to our everyday lives. When we do, our spirits literally walk in the knowledge. Psalm 119:133 declares, “Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” When light knowledge enters and we walk in it, all darkness is cleansed from our hearts. I John 1:7 declares, But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

Advantage of Satan’s Kingdom

Satan rules a kingdom made up of spiritual darkness, the opposite of Spiritual Light. His darkness resides inside our hearts before light enters. It is composed of various types of lusts and sinful knowledge – we lust to lie, we lust to steal, we lust to hate, etc.

Out of his kingdom Satan entices us to evil. When there is no strength against him, we yield to his temptations. In so doing, we literally open to door for his evil spirits to gain access: (l) to our bodies to bring sickness and disease, (2) to our finances, to bring lack and poverty and (3) our relationships to bring oppression and turmoil.

Wherever the Knowledge of God goes, darkness, or sin, cannot remain. We understand this reality from the sun when we consider day and night. When the light of day comes, the darkness of night automatically leaves. As we walk in the revealed spiritual Knowledge of God, all dark ways and the associated miserable effects in our lives automatically leave.
