Seek First God’s Kingdom for a Blessed Life

Every person (regardless of race, color, or creed) who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord of his or her life enters into a “covenant relationship” with Almighty God. By His grace, God established a New Covenant for us through the Blood of Jesus Christ. With it, He makes Himself our Heavenly Father and we become His Sons and Daughters. (II Corinthians 6:17-18) (Romans 8:14-16)

God’s Greatest Desire: As a loving Father, God’s greatest desire for His children is that they live an Abundant Life in Christ on earth, having no lack of any good thing. (St. John 10:10) God does not want His children to live bound with cancer, diabetes, heart disease or other debilitating diseases. Nor does He want them lacking the things needed to enjoy the finer things of life. (Psalm 34:9-10) Prices of almost everything in today’s world are skyrocketing. Be assured, however, that they have absolutely no negative effect upon God, our Heavenly Father.

Value of God’s Kingdom: To experience the best that God has for us in Life, we must acquire detailed insight into His Kingdom. Why is this so? Because it is in God’s Kingdom that everything we need to enjoy Life (l) exists and (2) is released to us. In St. Matthew 6:32-33, Jesus makes this declaration, “(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Two things are significant in the above passage of Scripture. FIRST: Jesus states that our Heavenly Father knows the things we need to enjoy a quality Life. Any good father knows the needs of his children, doesn’t he? If you are in Christ, your Heavenly Father is keenly aware of every need that you have – whether it is a need for greater health in your body, more financial resources to eliminate stressful debt, or greater harmony in your family relationships - God already knows all of them! SECOND: Jesus declares that these things will be added to us. God not only knows your needs, His plan is to “do something” about them. Specifically, He plans to supply the things necessary to eradicate needs from your life so that life can become more enjoyable to live. (Philippians 4:19)

Knowledge of God’s Kingdom: God’s specific intention is to add to us, in abundance, prepared Blessings that will guarantee a good Life on earth. (I Corinthians 2:9) He owns everything and possesses all power; therefore, He certainly can release things to us. However, a fundamental thing that prevents Him from releasing Blessings is our Ignorance of His Kingdom and how it operates. God’s prerequisite for “Blessings Release” is our seeking and entering His Kingdom where the Blessings are located. To seek His Kingdom, we must focus and acquire detailed knowledge of Him, for everything that we need has been provided for us through His Knowledge. (II Peter 1:2-3) It is through knowledge that we are able to perceive and enter God’s Blessed Kingdom.
