Resurrected and Victorious

Dignity walked, a head hanging down
Pride lay humbled, a depressed frown
Freedom subverted, a disgraced crown
Spirit soiled, in darkness drowned.

Arms got twisted and the heart obeyed
Mind all paralyzed, shocked n dismayed
Stripped, exposed and shamelessly raped
Tossed in bed, terribly betrayed.

At the stroke of 1
The Goliath awakes
But this time dwarfed
‘Cause Christ is awake
His armor, his weapons
Now all look fake
For my soul is now
In mighty victory draped!

Huge swords clank
And the four feet dance
Fountains of blood
Both red and blank
Spurt, one hissing
The other dismissing
One fiery dragon
The other simply grand!

The Winner won
The Loser lost
Finally paying all the cost.
And I who behind
The impenetrable screen
Lay tossed, tampered and there hid lost,
Came out
With head high
My disgrace lost.

Victorious I am
And resurrected too
‘Cause now I am in the I AM
Would you be too?
