I have an ocean to drink

I HAVE AN OCEAN TO DRINK

As I stand at the shore
Of life’s ocean galore
And gaze at the waves
All singing and dancing in praise,
I realize:
I have an ocean to drink!

Though tiny I am
Yet its life’s demand
That I empty this ocean
With passionate devotion
And flush it down my drains.

In this spectrum of life
With potentials so wide
In God’s universe
With life dimensions so diverse,
I have to see
What my share will be.
