From Eden To Golgatha

FROM EDEN TO GOLGOTHA

When Man was born to time
In the paradise called Eden,
All measured up to God’s demand
And virgin history stood
Wrapped in heaven’s mystery strand.

An aura of God embraced Eden
His grandeur so royal and great
And Man, the crown of creation stood
In this his paradise
So pure and kingly draped.

Spite and animosity then moved the enemy
He wriggled into this domain of Man
Adam said “yes” to Satan’s call
And humanity now stood raped,
Robbed of its architect’s plan.

Then came the maker to rescue the made
To set the path to heaven straight
Evil and death you now will fade
For now has come
Devil’s dead end fate.

He wrestled and won at Geth- Golgotha
Freed all and one from that strong holder
Let the freed Adam now
be a Christ-laden soldier
Freeing other Adams for their God,
For their savior!
