About Healing…

When we talk about healing, there is much said as we look in the Word of God. I admit that I don’t understand all about healing but I do believe that God can and still does heal today, through miracles, doctors or just good health decisions.
Today I want to discuss one thought: taking the Word of God and applying it liberally to your situation which is good medicine toward building your faith. Reading, studying and receiving into your heart the Word of God in any subject is healthy in every way. Building your faith is positive for God says in Hebrews 11 that without faith, it is impossible to please God.
Below is a list of scriptures concerning healing which can be studied and declarations that can be applied toward the building of your faith especially if you believe for healing for yourself or others. Take some time to look these up and apply them often!
(1) II Kings 20:1-11; emphasis on verses 5 & 7- God has heard my prayers and seen my tears. He has healed me and I will recover.
(2) Matthew 4:23-24-Jesus can and will heal me because He is not a respecter of persons and He is able.
(3) Mark 1:40-45-Jesus is willing to heal me.
(4) Matthew 8:16-17; Isaiah 53-Jesus took my infirmities and bore my sickness on the Cross. I am delivered from sickness and disease.
(5) Matthew 9:1-8-Jesus not only heals my body but He forgives my sins.
(6) Matthew 12:15 & 22-Jesus heals and heals completely.
(7) Matthew 17:15-18-Jesus is merciful and can cure instantly. Help my unbelief.
(8) Matthew 20:29-34-Jesus stands still when I call and answers my prayers.
(9) Luke 7:11-17-Jesus can raise the dead and He can raise me back to health.
(10) Luke 14:2-6-Jesus heals in spite of what others think and say.
(11) John 9:1-12-I started out broken but Jesus makes me whole.
(12) Acts 3:1-10-The name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth restores me to wholeness.
(13) Acts 9:36-42-My healing will bring glory to God and lead many to Christ.
(14) Acts 9:36-42-Faith and prayer can move mountains of sickness and even death.
(15) Acts 19:11-16-God heals in ways beyond my reasoning.

These are just a sample of the many scriptures concerning healing. Matthew through Acts has almost 40, just in those five books. It’s time we get into the Word of God and build our faith. God gave us His Word as a gift. It’s time to open it!
